I’m Alex, short for Alexandra. After 5 years of working at the Mac Cosmetics Store, doing makeup on the daily for all walks of life, from prom, to events & weddings, to special effects. I fell in LOVE with this industry! During that time, I attended school at Looks Academy for Medical Aesthetics, Laser Hair Removal & Makeup Artistry to prefect my craft. Around 2016,  I decided to start my own mobile freelance business for all my amazing clients to have the experience of me coming to their home so they can GLOW UP for any event they desired.

With my love for creativity and artistry, I wanted to extend my services to add to the full GLOW UP transformation. In 2019,  I attended a in depth course in LA from the one and only, “The Hair Diagram” all about how to hand make custom wigs and extensions. Now I specialize in customizing Glam & Medical Wigs for all my clients and absolutely LOVE MY JOB!

I am a Licensed Master Stylist & Colour Specialist at Glow UP Beauty Lounge.  I Have been in the industry for over 10 years. During my journey I have mastered a wide range of hair techniques and always believed in continual education to apply latest and best solutions in the industry.

I specialize in wide variety of colour techniques, color corrections, highlights, balayage, modern cuts, blowouts and special occasion styles.

I like to keep myself updated on all the latest trends in the industry, which allow me to create an exclusive look for my clients, making them feel beautiful inside and out.

Hey everyone! My name is Emma.

I’m a Licensed Advanced Stylist at Glow Up Beauty Lounge.

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a strong love for hair so I started working towards my dream of becoming hairstylist. In high school I completed the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program obtaining my level one hairstyling certificate. Shortly after graduation, I began working in salon and then went onto completing my certification at Niagara College. I always believed in continuing education throughout my career to ensure I’m giving my clients the best service I can and to continue to be inspired. Over the past 2 years, i’v been working behind the chair and absolutely love how i get to be creative & build strong relationships with my clients daily.

Hey! I’m Olivia!

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved doing hair & being creative (ask my Barbies & Groovy Girls!)
In 2018 I graduated from Brock University, and in 2020 I decided I wanted to fulfil my dream of becoming a hairstylist! I have been doing hair at Glow Up Beauty ever since! I am so thankful to be a part of such an insightful & inspiring team.

I always get asked what my favourite part about doing hair is, and the answer always is… EVERYTHING! From colouring, to cuts, to blowouts, to connecting with other people- I could never choose!

Hairstyling for me is about giving someone even more confidence in their self in every aspect! One thing about me is that I am always here to listen and love <3

Licia Calandrino is a highly skilled and accomplished individual who has made a significant impact in multiple fields over the course of her career. With a BSc. in Science, she has extensive knowledge and understanding of the medical field which has been put to good use over the last 16 years as a Certified Medical Esthetician specializing in Laser Hair Removal. Using the LightSheer Diode machine, Licia has provided top-notch treatments to her clients, helping them achieve their desired results.

She has a wealth of experience working in a medispa and running her own successful business, where she has demonstrated her exceptional organizational skills and commitment to delivering high-level customer service. This, combined with her passion for education, has allowed her to educate her clients and ensure they receive the best possible outcomes.

In addition to her successful career as a medical esthetician, Licia has also been a full-time high school teacher, bringing her vast knowledge and experience to the next generation. Now, she has taken her business to new heights by joining forces with her daughter Alexandra and moving it into the Glow up beauty lounge.
